Pretty Green will donate 1% of after tax profits to support the work of Water Partners International

Clean water supply is vital for health and wellbeing. As water scarcity increases in different areas of the world due to drought and climate change, it is becoming an increasingly alarming problem in developing countries. Stories of clean water being sold on the black market and people walking half an hour to obtain water from a contaminated pond or from where cattle also bathe really made us feel strongly about this issue. We will be donating 1% of all Pretty Green's sales to support the work of Water Partners International.

Water Partners International is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization committed to providing safe drinking water and sanitation to people in developing countries. Working in partnership with donors and local communities, we have helped thousands of people develop accessible, sustainable, community-level water supplies. WaterPartners not only offers traditional, grant-funded programs, but is also harnessing the power of micro-finance to address the world water crisis.

Pretty Green would love to feature your local innovative environmental project on our website. With your help, we hope to grow our Innovation Toolbox so that it would be a starting point for other groups looking for new ideas. There are so many exciting new projects that are taking place all over the world at the grassroots level and we can together make an impact through information sharing.

We are currently looking for projects from (and not limited to) the following groups:

Community Based Organizations
Schools of all levels (Grade level and College level)
Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts Projects
Faith-based Organizations
