Pretty Green will donate 1% of after tax profits to support the work of Water.org

Clean water supply is vital for health and wellbeing. As water scarcity increases in different areas of the world due to drought and climate change, it is becoming an increasingly alarming problem in developing countries. Stories of clean water being sold on the black market and people walking half an hour to obtain water from a contaminated pond or from where cattle also bathe really made us feel strongly about this issue. We will be donating 1% of all Pretty Green's sales to support the work of Water.org.

Water.org is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization committed to providing safe drinking water and sanitation to people in developing countries. Working in partnership with donors and local communities, we have helped thousands of people develop accessible, sustainable, community-level water supplies. WaterPartners not only offers traditional, grant-funded programs, but is also harnessing the power of micro-finance to address the world water crisis.
